2018- A New Name, A New Year of Possibilities

2018- New Year Bryan's letter News Graphic

I personally want to thank our great God and our Church Family for the pleasure of serving you.  I know this past year has been difficult for some of us.  We have made decisions that seem to have threatened the memories and sacrifices of our past history but please know Heaven will never forget.

I am convinced that when future generations look back they will celebrate the decisions we made in 2017, realizing that it was then that the Church made the necessary sacrifices to ensure its future existence and its continued impact for the Kingdom of God.  Who knows some of our own future relatives could be reached with the decisions of 2017.

I believe with all my heart that when we get to Heaven we will meet those who were reached by our selfless, sacrificial decisions to follow the heart of God.  For God always blesses our sacrificial attempts to impact His Kingdom.  To Him Be The Glory Forever and Ever.

I am so optimistic and encouraged at the possibilities of 2018.  My prayer is that we reach more people with the gospel, we equip more people through connect groups, and we have more people involved in serving through ministry and mission realizing that Jesus Is Our Lead Story.

Here at Pleasant City Church in the coming year and the years to come, lets make Jesus known to our community and the world.

Paul records in 1 Corinthians 9:22 his strategy for reaching people with the gospel, “to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.”

From the Heart of Your Pastor,
Bryan Glisson
