Before time, we see relationship with the Godhead. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit had a genuine connection with one another. Then human relationship began with Adam. Even before sin entered the world, Adam needed connection so God gave him Eve. We see throughout Scripture, people doing life together. The Lord has put in the heart of people the need for relationships.
Pleasant City Church has a great way for people to develop and grow in relationship with Jesus. We offer Connect Groups. A Connect Group is an intentional gathering of approximately three to twelve individuals who are learning together to become fully devoted to Christ. Pleasant City Church has ongoing Connect Groups on Sunday mornings, and, beginning the week of September 23, we will be launching Off Campus Connect Groups that meet in homes throughout Cleveland County.
Do yourself a favor and give Connect Groups a try! Connect Groups are a great place to develop relationships and friendships that will keep you connected to Pleasant City Church.
Life is not to be lived alone. God intends for us to do life together. The wisest human being that ever lived gave us this passage on the importance of being connected:
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 NKJV:Two are better than one,Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up.
