Emoji-Masquerade Challenge

Emoji Masquerade Message Graphic

As your Pastor, I take very seriously the teaching of God’s Word.  I have seen from my own personal experiences that God’s truth is trustworthy and has never let me down.  Over the years I have attempted to build my life on its application and through my studies have been introduced to a God who loves me and cares for me.  Therefore when I do present or teach His Word, I want my passion and love for it to stand out in such a way that the Holy Spirit uses it to transform the listener’s life as it has my own.

My life passage and motivation to teach God’s Word is Ephesians 4:11-16:

11 “And He (God) Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”

That being said, as Jonathan and I close the sermon series “Emoji-Masquerade” I desire that you use it as a resource for yourself and those you come across that are struggling with life issues; such as stress, fear, pride, discouragement, guilt & shame, bitterness, and grief.  We have been very intentional in presenting the subjects in such a way that they will be very practical and relevant to those who are struggling with these issues.  The series was born out of our desire to show people who do not believe the Bible does not speak to our day, that it does speak to the deepest issues of their heart.

Use this series as a way to present others to the life-changing Word of God.  Direct them to our Emoji-Masquerade Series.  Then pray that the Holy Spirit will speak to their hearts.
