What is Seeds of Faith (SOF): A Christ-centered community of believers that join together to academically and spiritually enrich each child.
Our mission at SOF: To nurture Christian fellowship, provide education from a biblical worldview, provide opportunities to serve the Lord, and to cultivate faith & moral character.
Who can join SOF: Homeschool families with children in Kindergarten - 12th grade (age 5 by August 31st of the current year):
- Play School: Ages 0-4 (Offered for families that have at least one child that is K-12)
- Elementary: Kindergarten - 5th Grade
- Middle School: 6th - 8th Grade
- High School: 9th - 12th Grade
How often do we meet: Families meet once a week during the school year for worship, a bible lesson, a variety of classes, and fellowship time. We also have a variety of fun activities throughout the year to include field trips, mission projects, a Christmas Program, a Community Garden, and End of Year Celebration Day.
Parent Involvement: Parent participation is essential to the success of SOF. A parent or a designated adult serve in a classroom on campus each co-op day. It is also essential that all parents be of like-faith, since parents take an active role in teaching and leading. We are aligned with Pleasant City Church’s belief statements and require a Statement of Faith signed by all adults.
What type of classes are offered: SOF classes are taught from a biblical worldview with no specific curriculum. Some classes previously offered include Baking, Science, Music, PE, Gardening, Theater, Tools, Drawing, Spanish, Bible, Art, Yearbook, First Aid, Outdoor Survival, Chess, Artist Exploration, Career Exploration, Writing, Electricity, and more!
