Recently, Pleasant City Church has had the privilege to partner with "Jim Rice Ministries", a missions organization that focuses primarily on countries in the Caribbean Sea. This ministry is led by Daniel Rice, a leader and deacon within our church body. PCC will be leading a team to Jamaica this summer with an emphasis on Evangelism and Discipleship training. We will host VBS for children, visit door-to-door in villages, and visit some churches all with one goal in mind: to proclaim the Gospel to the people of Jamaica. We would love for you to prayerfully consider joining us.
This trip is limited to 12 people. Due to the limited number of available spots, registration will be ONLY online on a first come first served basis. Registration will open at 7pm on Monday, April 1st and will stay open until 11pm on Monday, April 22nd or until all 12 spots are filled (whichever comes first). We will start a waiting list if needed.
The cost of this trip is $1,650. This is factoring the cost of meals into the total cost. Therefore, this price is all-inclusive. I know that when looking at this number it seems like a lot of money. However, I encourage you to first prayerfully seek God to see if this is a trip that He would have you go on. I have seen people, including myself, go on mission trips in the past with little or no money allotted for an expense like this in the beginning. Yet, God seems to provide. Financially, this is a leap of faith for many, but I encourage you to be willing and open to go and from there see if God will provide. There are multiple deposit deadlines to break up the cost of the trip into smaller, more manageable amounts. These deposits are non-refundable. Money must be paid online or turned in by donors on the deadline dates in order to secure your spot on the trip. The initial deposit must be paid online. The church office will not receive money from donors until the initial deposit is paid. Therefore, do not try to raise support until the 1st deposit has been paid.
Also, a missions application must be downloaded during you initial online registration and filled out by each prospective team member. These must be turned in to Jonathan or at church office by Thursday, May 23rd.
After this first deadline, we will begin preparing for the trip which will include attending mandatory training meetings. Training meetings are required. We will establish meeting times once our team is formed. If you have any questions do not hesitate to email or call.

Full Balance of $1650 in your Account by Monday, 7/8
