Bio
Jason moved into Shelby at 9 years of age. He was raised in a loving Christian home and realized he needed to personally accept Jesus at 11 years of age at a youth event at New Prospect Baptist Church. He graduated college from Western Carolina University in 1994 with a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Distribution. He spent 6 years in the business world and surrender to the call of ministry in 2000. He and his wife, Krista, married in October of 2000 and have served multiple churches in various roles from youth ministry, senior pastor, and currently connect pastor. Jason received his Masters in Counseling degree at Gardner-Webb in 2012. Jason and Krista have 3 children and a son in law with whom they love to catch a Braves Game with or play at the lake. Jason has a heart for people and building relationships that will lead them to the foot of the cross and help them grow in their just like he is continuing to grow in his own.
