Introduction: According to a recent survey, 90 year olds were asked what they would have done differently with their lives. Their top responses were take more risks, do more things that would last after their passing, and laugh more.

To Experience Joy & Laughter:
Be Knowledgeable (Philippians 4:4) (Psalm 126:2-3)
Be Prepared (Philippians 4:5a)
Be Composed (Philippians 4:5b)
Be Determined (Philippians 4:6-7)

Be Real—true (Philippians 4:8a)
Be Respectful—noble (Philippians 4:8b)
Be Righteous—just (Philippians 4:8c)
- Outward Determination
Be Pure—pure (Philippians 4:8d)
Be Pleasing—lovely (Phillippians 4:8e)
Be Positive—good report (Philippians 4:8f)
- Onward Determination
Be Courageous—virtue (Philippians 4:8g)
Be Commendable—praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8h) (Hebrews 12:1-2)
Be Content (Philippians 4:11-13)
Application: God created us with the ability to laugh and cry before we could even say one word.
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance…” (Ecclesiastes 3:1,4)
