Series Introduction: “Flourish” may be one of the best words, to describe a Christian who is maturing in their faith.
Definition of Flourish: to be healthy and thriving; to blossom; to be at the height of influence
Introduction: Having a flourishing faith is God’s desire for all of us who have trusted His provision of salvation. The expressions of flourishing faith are evident and should be exhibited.
Flourishing Faith Will Be Shared

through the Holy Spirit (I Thessalonians 1:5c)
through assurance (I Thessalonians 1:5d)

Flourishing Faith Will Be Supernatural

An Imitator of Others (I Thessalonians 1:6)
--evidence: joy in affliction

An Example to Others (I Thessalonians 1:7)
--evidence: giving in poverty
Flourishing Faith Will Be Scattered

Sounded Out—like a trumpet (I Thessalonians 1:8a)

Spread Out—like a traveler (I Thessalonians 1:8b)
Application: Do you exhibit to the world, a faith that is flourishing? Do you exhibit what the Holy Spirit enables you to be and do?
