1. You have a Climate- Environment you Create with your Demeanor/Mood
2. You Usually do NOT Know what Your Climate is
3. Your Decisions about Your Attitude and Perspective Dictates the Climate
4. Your Climate Dictates the Forecast- “What you Sow you will Reap”

        “What’s it like to Be on the other side of Me?”

The Question: “What’s it like to Be with Me… 
           …when Life’s NOT Stress-Free?”
           …when Expectation meets Reality?”

Ideal Expectations meet the Reality of Suffering (Mark 1:9-12)

• 2 Kinds of Suffering:
  • Suffering caused by Stupidity
  • Suffering caused by Sovereignty

The Path of Hope -Romans 5:2-4

Focused Trust (Mark 1:13a)

• Our Trust is not in an Outcome, but in a Person

Unshakeable Perseverance (Mark 1:13b)

• Do the Next Right Thing

Developed Character (Mark 1:13c)

• “Then God…”- We don’t develop our Character, God does

Confident Hope (Mark 1:14-15, Romans 5:5)

• We can do Difficult, because He does Impossible

Application: Don’t allow your Relationships or your Well-Being to be a Casualty of Suffering & Stress. When Expectation meets Reality and Life is not Stress-free…choose Hope.
