"Mediocre or Incredible"
Luke 10:25-37

Introduction: The “Incredible Life” is not based on our Outer Circumstances, but on our Inner Choices. Every day we either choose to live the Incredible Life or we slip into Mediocrity.

A Mediocre Scheme (Luke 10:25-26)

An Incredible Answer (Luke 10:27-28)

• The Incredible Life is both Vertical (Love for God), and Horizontal (Love for Others)

A Mediocre Requirement (Luke 10:29)

• “What’s the minimum amount of ‘loving my neighbor’ required to get God’s Favor and Gain the Incredible Life?”

An Incredible Story

• The Expected Tragedy (Luke 10:30)
• The Rehearsed Excuses (Luke 10:31-32)
  • Abundance of Plans: “I don’t have time”
  • Lack of Resources: “I can’t do everything for everybody, so why do anything for anybody?”
• The Unexpected Hero (Luke 10:33-35)

A Convicting Question (Luke 10:36-37)

• Who is living the Incredible Life? - The one who saw the need and met The one who knew the price and paid it. The one who didn’t talk himself/herself out of it.

UNITE 2021

March 5
7:00-10:00pm
All 6-12th grade students

The heart of UNITE is to bring together students from different churches, schools, and cultures as the body of Jesus Christ and to empower them to make a difference in their communities for the Glory of God. Unite will be packed with worship, teaching and games but also some surprises to stretch students to be intentional about their faith.

Wednesday 5:30-7:45pm.  A Worship Gathering just for middle and high school students.  Cafe/Games/Worship/Teaching
