"Secretly Incredible"
Mark 9:33-37, Mark 10:32-45  

Review: The “Incredible Life” is a God-Centered and Others-Focused Existence. It’s not based on our Outer Circumstances, but on our Inner Choices.

Introduction: If the Incredible Life is based on Inner Choices, then most of the Incredible Life happens in the Secret Places of the Heart. There lies within each Believer this tension to either be Superficially Proud or to be Secretly Incredible.

The Superficially Proud (Mark 9:33-34, Mark 10:32-37)

• A Desire to be First and Great…
  • in your Competition - “Arrogance” (Mark 9:34)
  • in your Agenda - “Manipulation” (Mark 10:35)
  • in your Position - “Noticed” (Mark 10:36-37)

• The Superficially Proud wear Capes
  • Wearing a Cape…
    • Hinders your Hands
    • Creates Tripping Hazards
    • Makes you Look Ridiculous 

The Secretly Incredible (Mark 9:35-37, Mark 10:38-45)

• A Devotion to be Last and Least…
  • in your Schedule - “Interruptions” (Mark 9:35-37)
  • in your Preservation - “Sacrifice” (Mark 10:38-39)
  • in your Authority - “Service” (Mark 10:42-45)

• The Secretly Incredible wear Christ

Application: The Secretly Incredible Life is remembering that you were not made to BE somebody, you were made to KNOW Somebody.

BEACH HOUSE IS BACK FOR 2021! A summer camp put on by our student ministry where exciting worship, crazy games, sunburn, and growing closer to God are just a few of the things you can expect.

Total Cost: $225* + $$$ for 7 Meals

$50 Deposit Due: April 14th

Wednesday 5:30-7:45pm.  A Worship Gathering just for middle and high school students.  Cafe/Games/Worship/Teaching
