THE SUPREMACY OF CHRIST
“An Unimaginable Perspective On Life”
Colossians 3:1-4

Introduction: Someone has rightly said that life is what we are alive to; what we are truly passionate about. For “Followers of Jesus” this comes from living life with an unimaginable perspective that is found in who we are “in Christ.”

Vs. 1—"raised with Christ”—past understanding of salvation
Vs. 3—"hidden with Christ”—present understanding of salvation
Vs. 4—"will appear with Christ”—future understanding of salvation

The Christian Life is a Resurrected Life
A Spiritual Fact (Colossians 3:1a; Colossians 2:12; Colossians 2:20)
A Practical Force
--seeking—pursue Heavenly things (Colossians 3:1b)
--setting—think on Heavenly things (Colossians 3:2)
Footnote: The act of pursuing and thinking gives us our perspective.

The Christian Life is a Protected Life
It Provides Double Security (Colossians 3:3) (John 10:27-29)
It Provides Definite Satisfaction (Colossians 3:3; Colossians 2:3)

The Christian Life is an Exalted Life
Our Christ’s Appearing (Colossians 3:4a)
The Christian’s Appearing (Colossians 3:4b)

A church-wide (kids, students, & adults) week of loving & serving our community. We are staying right in Shelby and working in our own backyard. This gives us an opportunity to love  the people that God has put in our neighborhood.

Wednesday 5:30-7:45pm.  A Worship Gathering just for middle and high school students.  Cafe/Games/Worship/Teaching
