FINANCIAL POTENTIAL
A Church Family That Makes A Difference
The Book of Nehemiah

Introduction: The Churches with the greatest impact for the Kingdom of God have many similarities with the great work of Nehemiah:

They Have a Compelling Purpose
Passion (Nehemiah 1:1-4)
Discipline (Nehemiah 6:15)

They Have a Continual Prayer Life
Integrity (Nehemiah 1:5-11)
Selfless (Nehemiah 1:5-11—“servant”)

They Have a Clear Plan
Priorities (Nehemiah 2:1-5)
Intentional (Nehemiah 2:6-10)

They Have a Courageous Persistence
Committed (Nehemiah 4:10-14; Nehemiah 5:12-13)
Driven (Nehemiah 6:1-4; 15-16)

Application: Will we as a church respond to the vision God has placed before us? Will we continue to do what is takes to ensure that we as a Church will impact the generations to come?

Where there is no vision (revelation from God),
the people perish (scatter).  (Proverbs 29:18a)

“If people can’t see what God is doing,
they stumble all over themselves;
but when they attend to what He reveals,
they are most blessed.”
(Proverbs 29:18—The Message)
