MOMENTUM
“Responding to the Vision Before Us”
Ephesians 2:19-22, 4:4-6,15-16
Definition of Spiritual Momentum: A move of the Holy Spirit in the life of a church family that is awakening to, rallying around, and fulfilling the vision of the Great Commission.
Introduction: How do we respond to the vision God has placed before us? By remembering the sacrifice before us, rejecting the complacency among us, receiving the gifts He has given us, and releasing afflictions within us, and then responding to the vision God has given us.

The Vision for Our Church—Without Vision:
“Where there is no vision
(revelation from God, direction from God),
the people perish
(the people scatter, the people are unfulfilled):
but he that keeps the law
(listens and obeys God)
happy is he.”
(blessed is he, fulfilled is he)
(Proverbs 29:18—KJV)
“If people (the church) can’t see what God is doing,
they stumble all over themselves;
but when they attend to what He reveals,
they are most blessed.”
(Proverbs 29:18—The Message)
