Know the Love - Show the Love
Acts 17:15-34

Introduction: Paul’s desire when he arrived in Athens was to share the Good News with the people. He arrived in this great city not as a sightseer -- but as a soul seeker. (Acts 9:20) (John 1:40-42) (Proverbs 11:30)

Paul Prioritized People (Acts 17:15-16)
• People Need Our Time (Mark 6:7)
• People Need us to Practice “We > Me” (Matthew 9:35 -39)
• People need us to be Spirit filled (Acts 20:23-24)

 Paul was Proactive in Reaching the Lost (Acts 17:17-20)
• Paul saw the need and spoke the truth
• Paul didn’t give up (II Timothy 4:5) (Galatians. 6:9-10)
• Paul took His Opportunity (Ephesians 5:15)

Paul Knew the Power in the Message (Acts 17:33-34)
• Jesus Saves
• Salvation Changes Us (Acts 20:26-27)
• Jesus is Alive (Matthew 5:16) (I Peter 3:15)

Application: Paul’s approach was effective because: He was all about the people. He was proactive in his calling. He believed in the power of the Gospel. We can and should be like Paul. Now that we Know the Love of God, we must Show that Love to others as we make our lives count this New Year!
