Hidden Sin…

Cultivates in Complacency (Joshua 7:1-4)

Cripples with Shame (Joshua 7:5-18)
- Types of Shame
     o Relational: Broken Trust and Paranoia with Others
     o Personal: Guilt and Self-condemnation
     o Spiritual: Separation from God’s Favor and Fellowship

Charts a deadly Course (Joshua 7:19-21) (James 1:14-15)
- You See it: Temptation
- You Desire it: Lust
- You Engage it: Action
- You Hide it: Excuses
- You Treasure it: Idolatry
- It Kills You: Devastation

Carries far-reaching Consequences (Joshua 7:22-26)
- Sin ALWAYS…
     o Takes you further than you want to Go
     o Keeps you longer than you want to Stay
     o Costs you more than you want to Pay
     o Infects beyond Yourself

Confessed & Cleared brings Victory (Joshua 8:1-35)
