“Finishing Well”
Joshua 23-24 

Introduction: The “Highlight Reel” of Joshua (whether in Victory or Defeat) reminds us that God’s promises still stand. It also reminds us that “It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish.”

How to Finish Well…

Carefully Remember God’s Faithfulness (Joshua 23:1-5, Joshua 24:1-13)
   - God’s Power: the Lord > the Leadership
   - God’s Promise: God’s Devotion > our Disobedience
   - God’s Provision: what He Gives us > what we Strive for

Courageously Guard God’s Boundaries (Joshua 23:6-16)
   - Stay Grounded in God’s Word
   - Stay Close to God’s Heart
   - Stay Away from God’s Enemies

Completely Commit your Life (Joshua 24:14-28)
   - Decide your Master
   - Demonstrate your Devotion

Faithfully Finish your Race (Joshua 24:29-33)
   - Run to the End
   - Raise the Next Generation
   - Rest in God’s Inheritance
