A SEAT AT THE TABLE
“We Belong: More than Attending”
Acts 2:41-47

Introduction: The church belongs to Jesus, and He is our Lead Story (CV1). Jesus calls us to more than simply having a seat in the Room, He invites us to a seat at His Table to share in the Life and Mission of His church. At His table: We Belong, we grow, we serve, and we go.

We Belong…

when His Gospel becomes our Story (Acts 2:41)
- I Receive God’s Word through Saving Faith
- I Identify with God’s Son through Public Baptism
- I Join God’s People through Church Membership

when His Church becomes our Priority (Acts 2:42)
- We keep Scripture & Prayer Prime (CV2)
- We choose We > Me (CV4)
- We pursue Transformation > Tradition (CV6)

when His Table becomes our Community (Acts 2:43-47)
- We embrace Worship as a Lifestyle (CV3)
- We make Generosity Common (CV7)
- We remember we Get to Serve (CV5)
- We stay Kingdom Focused (CV9)
- We value Multiplication > Addition (CV8)

Returning to Pleasant City Church campus! Camp out Friday night and enjoy an evening of worship, the Word, & fun activities!  Supper Friday night & Bojangles Biscuits Saturday morning!

I'm A Christian Now Class

Begins Sunday, September 20
A 5-week class for kids 1^st - 5^th grade who have made a profession of faith. We recommend this class before baptism. Parents are asked to attend the first class with their child.
