We believe that God created human beings for authentic relationships, and spiritual growth occurs best in the context of community. Our connect groups consist of adults who meet on campus or in homes for Bible study, prayer, fellowship, encouragement, and evangelism. Groups come in all shapes and sizes, and consists of people ages 18 to 98!! No matter where you are in life, there’s a group for you. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 says, “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!” Life is not meant to be lived alone. God intends for us to experience life together! We encourage you to get into a connect group.
WHAT is a Connect Group?
A Connect Group is an intentional gathering of approximately three to twelve individuals who are learning together to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ, while developing authentic friendships. Our Connect Groups mission is to gather for Bible study, prayer, fellowship, encouragement, and evangelism and then go out ready to study our Bible, pray, fellowship, encourage, and evangelize more and more!!
WHY a Connect Group?
DOING LIFE TOGETHER is part of God’s plan. Sharing your life and investing in other’s lives brings about authentic community. The Pastors here at Pleasant City Church will never be able to meet ALL the individual needs in our church family. We know, we have experienced, and we praise the Lord for the fact that many needs can be met through Connect Groups.
WHERE do Connect Groups meet?
Our church offers both on and off campus groups! Connect groups meet in homes, the workplace, or on campus here at PCC. Currently, we have groups meeting in various locations in Cleveland County! Chances are we have a group meeting near you … or we could start one!

All-In-Marriage
Marriage — Following our connection with Jesus Christ this is the MOST IMPORTANT CONNECTION in your life !! Learn how to connect as husband/wife God’s way !! All In Marriage Ministry (AIM) is a lay-led, mentor-based ministry. Our “aim” is to be intentional about educating, supporting and protecting every stage of marriage. This ministry includes individual/couple “Mentoring” and/or “Connect Groups” based on the Word of God available in the areas of *Premarital, *Enrichment, *Crisis/Separated, and the *Stepfamily.
2nd Saturdays of the Month / 5-8:30pm
We want to offer an intentional date experience with your spouse. Our church believes in marriage date nights so much that we offer free childcare and talking points with fun and directional questions to put the spark back in your marriage. ALL married couples are welcome! Click HERE to sign-up.

MenOur Men’s Ministry is focused on helping men become Godly men who learn to love God more. Our goal is to see men who will be spiritual leaders through discipleship, as well as men who are serving their family and becoming a Godly example to their wives, family, coworkers, and community. This ministry, takes place through Bible based Connect Groups. |
WomenThe Women’s Ministry of Pleasant City Church is designed to equip women through the transforming power of Jesus Christ, disciple them to follow His example, while encouraging them to minister to others for God’s glory. This ministry takes place through the environment of Bible based Connect Groups. |

SWAT
Our SWAT (Seniors with a Testimony) ministry is an exciting ministry for those 55 and older! It is a blessing to continue to serve our Mighty Lord and Savior and enjoy each other as the years of retirement set in. We have regular times of fellowship including monthly dinners. We enjoy each other and receive encouragement as we share God’s Word and our lives with one another. We reach out to our community through Outreach Bible conferences, bus trips and various ministries/activities. We have opportunities to be a part of overseas missions. We also enjoy encouraging the children and youth of our church body as the Lord gives us creative ideas. We model our ministry after Caleb who at 85 years old said boldly, “Give me this mountain” – Joshua 14:12. Come and join us as we love God, connect with others, and reach the world.
- SWAT Fellowship- 3rd Tuesdays of the Month / 6-8pm @ the Fellowship Hall
A time of fellowship and fun with other Senior adults. We eat dinner at the Fellowship Hall (located in the Worship Center). We are then blessed to have different Ministry Staff and Senior Adults provide a devotional.
