Worship Songs

Yes I Will

I count on one thing
The same God that never fails
Will not fail me now
You won't fail me now
In the waiting
The same God who's never late
Is working all things out
You're working all things out

Yes I will, lift You high in the lowest valley
Yes I will, bless Your name
Oh, yes I will, sing for joy when my heart is heavy
All my days, oh yes I will

And I choose to praise
To glorify, glorify
The Name of all names
That nothing can stand against

Oh, yes I will, lift You high in the lowest valley
Yes I will, bless Your name
Oh, yes I will, sing for joy when my heart is heavy
All my days, oh yes, I will
For all my days, oh yes, I will
For all my days, yes, I will

O Praise The Name

I cast my mind to Calvary
Where Jesus bled and died for me.
I see His wounds, His hands, His feet.
My Savior on that cursed tree

His body bound and drenched in tears
They laid Him down in Joseph's tomb.
The entrance sealed by heavy stone
Messiah still and all alone

O praise the name of the Lord our God
O praise His name forever more
For endless days we will sing Your praise
Oh Lord, oh Lord our God

Then on the third at break of dawn,
The Son of heaven rose again.
O trampled death where is your sting?
The angels roar for Christ the King

O praise the name of the Lord our God
O praise His name forever more
For endless days we will sing Your praise
Oh Lord, oh Lord our God

He shall return in robes of white,
The blazing Son shall pierce the night.
And I will rise among the saints,
My gaze transfixed on Jesus' face

O praise the name of the Lord our God
O praise His name forever more
For endless days we will sing Your praise
Oh Lord, oh Lord our God

Way Maker

You are here, moving in our midst
I worship You
I worship You
You are here, working in this place
I worship You
I worship You
You are here, moving in our midst
I worship You
I worship You
You are here, working in this place
I worship You
I worship You

You are
Way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper
Light in the darkness
My God, that is who You are
You are
Way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper
Light in the darkness
My God, that is who You are

You are here, touching every heart
I worship You
I worship You

You are here, healing every heart
Healing every heart
Oh, I worship You
Jesus, I worship You
You're turning lives around
You are here, oh, turning lives around
I worship You
I worship You
You mended every heart
You are here, and You are mending every heart
I worship You, yeah
I worship You

And You are

Way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper
Light in the darkness
My God, that is who You are
Yeah You're the way maker

That is who You are
That is who You are
That is who You are

Even when I don't see it, You're working
Even when I don't feel it, You're working
You never stop, You never stop working
You never stop, You never stop working

Way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper
Light in the darkness
My God, that is who You are

ESSENTIAL FRUIT NONESSENTIAL FRUSTRATION

“Making Lemonade Out Of Lemons--Patience”

Galatians 5:22-23; Other Passages

Series Introduction: The Fruit of the Spirit is a picture of spiritual qualities that are reflected in the personality and relationships of the believer. The Biblical goal for every believer is for the spiritual fruit to ripen in their lives.

The Process of Fruit-Bearing:

  • Planting—the Word of God
  • Cultivating—nourishing & pruning
  • Producing—for consumption & propagation

Introduction: As followers of Jesus, we are to reflect His attributes.
(Ephesians 4:1-2)

Definition of Patience: Bearing annoyance, delay, hardship, or pain, with fortitude and calm and without anger and/or complaint.

Patience Helps Us As Believers:

Wrestle With Problems

  • Why Do We Have Problems?

            - to mature us  (James 1:2-4) (Romans 5:3)
            - to discipline us (Hebrews 12:5-11)
            - to stretch us  (Psalms 119:71)
            - to direct us  (Genesis 50:20)

  • How Do We Overcome Problems?  (2 Corinthians 6:4-7a)

Work With People

  • Our Patience: (1 Thessalonians 5:12-14)

             - with scenery people—those who are just there
             - with service People—those who serve us or we serve
             - with special People—those we are bonded to and care for (Romans 12:10-12)

  • God’s Patience  (2 Peter 3:15)

             - in salvation
             - in daily living

Walk In Persecution

  • Why Are We Persecuted? (John 15)

             - we are different than the world (John 15:19)
             - we represent Christ before the world (John 15:20)
             - we expose the sin of the world (John 15:22)

  • How Do We Face Persecution? (Matthew 16)
     (Matthew 16:24)

              - we must first become a disciple (Matthew 16:24a)
              - we must deny ourselves (Matthew 16:24b)
              - we must take up our cross (Matthew 16:24c)
              - we must follow Christ wholeheartedly (Matthew 16:24d)

Wait With Promise  (Hebrews 10:36)

  • The Trust Factor (Hebrews 6:9-12)
  • The Time Factor (Hebrews 6:13-14)
  • The Thrill Factor (Hebrews 6:15)

Application: We are commanded to be patient as God is patient. Would others say that you are patient?
